What is the Bespoke Experience?

The word bespoke itself is derived from the verb bespeak, meaning to "speak for something," or to “be spoken for.” Bespoke clothing is traditionally cut from a pattern specifically crafted for an individual client, and so differs from ready-to-wear, which is factory made in finished condition of standardized sizes, and from made-to-measure, produced to order from a pre-cut pattern. Here at LCM we truly believe that every client deserves a bespoke solution to their financial needs.

The Consultation:

The joy of designing a client’s personal strategy begins with a wonderful discovery of the client. Understanding a client’s lifestyle, personality, family, business and financial goals. Allow us to design financial strategies that are a faithful expression of that client.

It begins with a casual conversation on the client’s specific needs and what motivated them to seek financial advice. This conversation is unique for every client, yet the dialog invariably leads us to the same end: a true understanding of the unique and custom need of the client—whether for a critical event, for estate preservation, retirement or a makeover to help them get back on the right financial track. 

Concept:

THE PURPOSE OF THE MISSION & VISION:

Within the American system of Capitalism, are core principles of free markets and competition. At the heart of competition,  is a sense of fair play and equal opportunity. Currently here in the US and many places around the world, this is not the case. As you know billions of people around the globe need on-ramps because they are facing incalculable odds. Many start life without the proper resources necessary to live, much less to compete in a global economy. This truth, allows the establishment to entrench their positions by creating and overseeing systems that benefit the few versus the many. When so many are locked out, we hold the future of humanity hostage and put a stranglehold on our children possibilities. The future of humanity depends on our ability to provide access and develop systems that will benefit all citizens of the global community. 

We believe that God endowed each of us with inalienable rights and these rights include the ability to pursue happiness.  No one group or geographic location has the trademark on good ideas, concepts, or intelligent designs. We must cultivate an environment where the best ideas flourish no matter where the idea originated. 

Ultimately, our mission is to make a mark that cannot be erased, by removing the shackles that currently limit understanding, recognizing that capital is a tool that can be used to unharness the creative ability of the masses. We must invest in our forgotten ones and prove that over time social consciousness will be more productive and profitable than the current systems that benefit the few. We must work diligently in creating a meritocracy where character, beliefs, and ideas are the deciding factor. Not those same superficial measuring sticks that brought us to this point, where the entitled continue to fortify their destructive positions while perpetuating the narrative of the haves and the have-nots. The status quo is unacceptable; we must harness the power of capital, investment, innovation, technology, creativity and love to deliver us from this conundrum.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

Here at Limitless, we believe that limits are an illusion and the only boundaries that exist are those that we set for ourselves. Man, the greatest of all creations, has unlimited potential. He is only bound by his limits and his boundaries. He is not restrained by the universe or God, but by boundaries and limits of his mind.

We also believe in the spirituality of business that dwells deep inside each of us; this is connected to the desire to do something great. When a group becomes connected and focused on one goal, when each individual's vision can come together under one idea, one mind, headed in one direction, then we have a synergy of thought and effort. Each must be willing, to focus all of their attention, energy and will towards the goal. Your ego must be taken out of the equation, only then can a group adopt a culture of truth. A place where the client is valued and their success are paramount. Understanding that the firm’s success is measured by our clients' success, they are interconnected. It is the spiritual alignment of true business. It lies in the comprehension that the firm and our clients' objectives are singular. Members of the same team, one failure on our clients' behalf affect the firm; a failure on the firm's behalf affects the clients.

 Every failure affects another, therefore; we are selective with whom we will align ourselves with, and we urge our prospective clients to be selective also. The same is to be said, on how we choose members of the firm. We set out to find the very best people for our clients. However, the goal is to find people whose vision aligns with the views of our firm. We are intently looking for creative and keen minds that are anchored by a strong and endearing character, this the first step in ensuring that we will always do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. Focusing all of our efforts on the continued success of our clients.

THE BEGINNING

At a young age, I had always been fascinated with business and the art of investing, and just how closely related to an individual’s perspectives and beliefs it could be. I saw it as a form of expression, as a way to communicate. No different than someone's cadence or style of dress or signature. I saw it as one may view a fingerprint; no two people have one precisely alike. Through proper strategy, planning and implementation one could introduce their ideas, concepts, and overall worldview. Speaking to others who view the world similarly and consistently finding other “like-minded” individuals.

My grandmother encouraged my philosophical perspectives and sparked me to speak up so that my voice could be heard. She would listen to me talk for hours and would ask me questions when she didn’t understand or thought that my ideas were unclear. I often looked at old newspapers to find stories about businesses and became intrigued by business models. I soon discovered that you could own a small piece of a company if you bought a stock.  I thought that was “so amazing.” I often would sit and think of what made one business successful versus one that wasn’t. I knew by the time I turned 11 years old that I would be a business owner, I wasn’t sure what business, but I knew that I was destined to be an entrepreneur.

My road to entrepreneurship started a year after graduating from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I started my first business while pursuing a career as a professional athlete. To continue a career as a professional athlete, I lived in Europe for seven years this helped give me a broader perspective on people, business, and the global economy. This also took me away from many distractions and provided me with a great deal of free time. While there, I continued to read and study all I could on business, investments, and life. That’s when I first came across the book “The American Capitalist,” a book summarizing Warren Buffet’s life and business story, it captivated me and like the “Pied Piper” it hypnotically led me to the book “Intelligent Investor “and from there to “Security Analysis.” From there I continued to read everything I could on Life, Business, and Investment.

In 2008, while working for a large financial services company; the stock market was in the midst of the most significant decline since the Great Depression. The office phones were ringing off the hook with concerned clients, looking for guidance on their investments. Many of my co-workers were making themselves scarce, not wanting to deal with many of the client’s fears. However, I sat and answered as many phone calls as I could and listened to the clients' concerns and frustrations. I attempted to calm their frustrations and reassure them that brighter days were ahead.

On the way home that night, I begin to think about the things I heard from the clients. I thought about how I could provide a better quality service, but it needed to be a quality service that place clients first; that allow employees to put the clients’ needs above the firm’s. I knew I needed to build an organization that would think independently about investments. A group that naturally understood what true value investing was and what it could be. That night wasn't the beginning of Limitless Capital Management, but a culmination of a lifetime of experiences, thoughts, concerns, and frustrations with the financial services industry. A year later, in the basement of my home, I laid the foundation for what is now Limitless Capital Management.

My vision was to create an advisory business that, rather than focusing on investments alone, was intensely driven by the lifestyle of the client and the overall advisory experience. This unique approach, combined with the quality of the Limitless team, and the unparalleled service that we provide, proved to fulfill an unmet need in the marketplace. After years of hard work, I am now grateful and proud to offer clients the complete Limitless experience. We promise to continue to strive to provide the very best service and results that are possible.
